Choosing where to stay when you visit Disney can be a very overwhelming decision. Ideally staying on Disney property can be fun, but not always affordable to everyone. When we travel with friends we have always chosen to rent a home or a condo. It has saved us a tremendous amount of money all while allowing us the freedom to be together. My favorite part is I can throw a load of laundry in while at the parks. Having your own washer and dryer means less clothes you have to pack.
I usually use vrbo.com when it comes to finding a condo or home for us to rent. We chose to stay in Windsor Hills last time we booked a condo. We had our own little private splash pool which my daughter enjoyed. We also were allowed use of the club house that included a large resort style pool with slide. The cost was less than $125 a night and the condo had 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. I believe it took us less than 10 minutes to get to DisneyWorld from here. It would have taken us longer if we had stayed on property and took Disney transportation.
When choosing to rent a condo or home make sure the owner will allow you to pay via credit card. This way you will ensure that you are protected from any scams that may be out there.
