If you are looking for some budget friendly things to do at Disney beyond visiting the theme parks there is plenty of things to do and explore while there. Downtown Disney is one of the largest and most popular place to visit. If you have never been to Downtown Disney I highly suggest making it part of your trip. Not only are there plenty of great places to eat but great shopping too. There are many restaurants at Downtown Disney that are part of the Disney dining plan. We love to eat lunch at Earl of Sandwich. On our last visit we ate a fabulous dinner at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Bar. It was a wonderful experience with live music and Irish table dancing.
The Lego Imagination center is every kids dream and some adults too. The store has a 3,000 square foot play area outdoors where there are a few large sculptures that area great place for a photo opportunity. We also enjoy taking the fairy from one side to the other of Downtown Disney. Often you will find an outdoor performance going on while at DTD. My daughter’s hip hop dance team had the honor of performing there a few years back and had a great time.
Be sure to visit Goofy’s Candy Co. while at Downtown Disney. No visit is complete without being able to choose your own toppings on your favorite Disney treat. More free and cheap things to do at DisneyWorld to come.
